Session 2: March 4 - April 28 (No classes March 25 - March 31 for BVSD Spring Break)
Session 3: “Short + Sweet” wheel classes only April 29 to May 26 
Session 4: June 3 to Aug 18
Session 5: August 26 to October 20
Session 6: October 21 to December 22
(No classes November 25 -December 1 for Thanksgiving)

For our 2024 classes, we will be moving our registration process to a “rolling registration” throughout the weeks listed above. The class registration schedule will be listed out below a few weeks prior to each registration week.

Session 3 Youth & Family Class Registration Schedule:


PLEASE NOTE - if stay-at-home orders return, all classes will automatically move online and the remaining weeks of the session will be done remotely. Our standard refund policy will be in effect. Youth and Family classes do not include access to open lab hours.

All Youth & Family Classes are offered on a Pay What You Can model.

4-Week “Short & Sweet” Pre-teen Wheel-Throwing

Great for students that are brand new to the wheel as well as those that are working to improve their throwing skills! Students will practice wheel-throwing on the potter's wheel as well as create hand-built pieces using the slab roller and extruder. On the final class, students will learn about glazing their pieces. Classes take place downstairs in the main studio.

Mondays 4:15 - 5:30pm
Dates: April 29 - May 20

Ages: 8-11
Cost: Pay What You Can (Suggested $95)

4-Week “Short & Sweet” teen Wheel-Throwing

Emphasizing creativity and enjoyment, this class is great for teenagers that are new to the wheel as well as those that are further developing their throwing skills. Classes will include both hand-building and wheel-throwing, trimming of thrown pots, slip decorating, and glazing of bisqued pieces. These classes are a great chance for students to learn a variety of techniques, ask questions, and play with clay!

Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:30pm
Dates: May 1 - May 22
Instructors: Aaron Winston
Ages: 12-16
Cost: Pay What You Can (Suggested $110)

Family CLAY
(4-Week Classes)

Students will learn a variety of hand-building techniques, using tools, textures, stamps, and molds. Instructor will lead students in both functional and sculptural pottery projects and students will paint each finished piece with colored slips. Emphasis is on working on a project as a family. This is a fun class, built around community and creativity!

Please note: Registration for this class is for one child and one adult. If you have more family members wanting to join, please contact the studio prior to registration!

4-Week Youth Handbuilding

Welcome to the world of pottery! This class is designed for young children that are new to clay and working to develop their skills in hand-building. Students will create fun and unique projects in functional and sculptural forms. Children will learn to build strong, hollow pieces and will slip and paint their own work. Join us for these weekly classes where kids can get messy, learn about clay, and make new friends!
